Time - Susaye Greene

Another great little fun fan video. Remember the Supremes from the 70s? Well this time around I've worked with Susaye Greene of the Supremes. It's a funky little video for a funky little song called Time of her last CD called "Brave New Shoes".

Desi Wear store opening.

After many many year working for the clothing company Desi Wear were, we are proud to announce the Grand Opening of our very first Canadian Retail Boutique.

The grand opening is on December 6th and 7th. The DW Winter Collection will be launched and there will be tons of new exclusive styles here that are not available online.

If your in the Greater Toronto Area please try to make it out to the opening. I'll be there doing interviews with people etc, and of course taking lots and lots of pictures.

Jeff Bridges’ Iron Man Photo Diary.

You probably know Jeff Bridges as an actor, but many people don’t know that he also dabbles in photography as a hobby. Bridges recently updated his online photo book with his behind the scenes Iron Man photos. There are lots of great stuff including a look inside Stan Winston studios, photos from early production meetings, a wardrobe test, and various sets from the film.

What are the social consequences when science allows us to see things that had previously been invisible?

Scientists have revealed microscopic life, nanoscale molecules and galaxies billions of light-years away. These images have revolutionized the disciplines in which they were made, but they also transformed the public's imagination, giving common people new things to think and dream about.

The intertwined social, scientific and artistic impacts of 19th century photography is the subject of a new exhibit, Brought to Light Photography and the Invisible, 1840-1900, at San Francisco's Museum of Modern Art.

This gallery looks at some of the more astounding images and stories from the exhibit.

LIFE Magazine Photo Archives Arrive in Google Image Search

"Google has just added image archives from LIFE Magazine, the storied American photo journal, to its image search. Google Images has launched a special page for the collection, allowing you to browse photos by specific topic like Marilyn Monroe or Winter Olympics. You can also now append “source:life” to any Google Images search to see photos from the magazine.

Most of the photos actually didn’t appear in LIFE, but rather, were gathered from “dusty archives in the form of negatives, slides, glass plates, etchings, and prints.” According to Google, there are roughly 10 million photos in total, about 2 million of which have been put online so far. Time Inc, which owns the rights to the LIFE Magazine content, also plans to launch Life.com next year."
